Pitot Tubes

Pitot tubes are a primary device recommended in BS ISO 3966 : 2008  and ISO 10780 to determine the accurate measurement of fluid flow in a closed conduit system, adopting the traverse method. They are a universally accepted means of establishing the air velocity in a duct or stack with only a small access hole required for insertion of the probe in the duct.

  • Fully welded Stainless Steel Grade 321 & 325 construction
  • Available with integral thermocouple for simultaneous pressure & temperature sensing
  • Welded construction for high temperature use
  • ‘M’ factor typical range 1.0 – 1.422
  • Comply with ISO 3966 2008 and ISO 10780
  • Ellipsoidal available as Ø2.3, Ø4.0, Ø8.0 and Ø9.5
  • Supplied with or without BSPP male Gland, mounting plate and movable marker clips
  • The ‘S’-type Pitots feature a thermocouple, 32mm dia. and are available in four standard length, 0.7m, 1.2m, 2.2m and 3.2m
  • Bespoke Pitot static tubes available designed and manufactured to Customer requirements
